Pre-requisites
- Latest version of the Litify Installed Package
- Retrieve your Organization ID by navigating to Setup - Company Information
- Please send us your Organization ID, and we will provide you with an API Key that you will need for Step 2.
Step 1: Install Package
- Log into your desired environment
- If in a Sandbox, install by using the following link: Steno Package - Sandbox
- If in Production, install by using the following link: Steno Package
- Select Install for All Users
- Make sure to agree to the additional Content Security Protocol 3rd party APIs
Step 2: Manage Custom Metadata Types
- Navigate to Setup
- Search ‘Custom Metadata Types’ in the Quick Find box
- Navigate to Steno Configuration
- Select Manage Records
- If in a Sandbox, click Staging to modify the records
- If in Production, click Production to modify the records
- Add your API URL (https://steno.com) and API Key into the Custom Fields section
- Do this for both the Staging and Production records
- Do not modify the Base record
- Note: The API Key is a confidential and unique key for your organization. If you don't have it yet, please send us your Organization ID, and we will generate the key for you.
- Save
Step 3: Permission Set Assignment
This package comes with a Steno Booking Tool permission set that includes access to the StenoAuthenticationController Apex Class and the Steno Configuration Custom Metadata Type.
- Navigate to Setup
- Search ‘Permission Sets’ into the Quick Find box
- Select Steno Booking Tool
Select Manage Assignments and assign desired users
Step 4: Lightning Record Page
The below outlines the details of the Steno Job Lightning Web Component and how to add it to any Matter Record Page. The component is designed to be added as a Tab on the primary section of the Matter Record Page.
- Navigate to Setup
- Select Object Manager
- Search ‘Matter’ in the Quick Find box
- Navigate to Lightning Record Pages
- Select the record page(s) that you would like to add the Steno Job tab to and click edit
- Navigate to Tabs and add a custom tab with the title ‘Steno Jobs’
- Save
- Open up the new Steno Jobs tab
- Search ‘Steno’ in the component Quick Find box
- Drag ‘steno_stenoContainer’ into the Steno Jobs tab
- Save
- Exit edit mode and enjoy your new Steno Jobs tab!
