Post-Job Requirements: What to Do After Each Assignment

These are the required tasks after each job

1. Send Worksheet to Steno

Due: 1 business day after job date

Submit completed worksheet with:

    • All job details and copy orders
    • Read-and-sign information (witness email/address when applicable)
    • Expedite notes if applicable
    • Filename should include Steno job number

2. Send Exhibits to Steno

For Remote Jobs

Due: 1 business day after job date

Submit properly labeled exhibit files. If no exhibits or exhibits retained by counsel, use "Submit Without Files" with a note explaining why.

For In Person Jobs

Original exhibits must be shipped to the address below with your completed Exhibit Tracking Sheet within 24 hours of the proceeding. To request a shipping label, please email production@steno.com.

If using a non-Steno shipping label, please note the tracking number on the Exhibit Tracking Sheet. Exhibits will be scanned and uploaded within 24–48 hours of their arrival at our office.

3. Send Transcript to Steno

Due: As specified in job assignment

Submit final transcript in ASCII format (both timestamped and non-timestamped for depositions).

4. Send Invoice to Steno

Due: When transcript is submitted

Submit completed invoice with all charges and relevant documentation.

 

Special Situations

Hold Notes Jobs (Not Ordered): Submit worksheet and invoice, close transcript task as "Submit Without Files" with "hold/no-write" note.

Rough Drafts: Send directly to counsel (copy production@steno.com on the email) within 24 hours of request. Include disclaimer that draft is not certified.

Expedited Jobs: Email concierge@steno.com immediately with job number, expediting firm, and due date.

Important Reminders

    • Always click "Submit" - files aren't received until officially submitted
    • Close all tasks - jobs won't move to "Completed" until all tasks are closed
    • Add notes when submitting without files to explain why
    • Access tasks at: Provider Dashboard > My Jobs > [Select Job] > Tasks tab
